Dual sheave ships block ashwood
Robust double sheave blocks, made from first-class ash wood in a small block workshop that has produced blocks of this sort for working ships and gaffers since 1870.Today, these blocks are laminated to be seawater-proof. The housings are copper-riveted, and the fittings have a solid and long-lasting galvanization. The standard blocks come unfinished, so they can be finished to match the color scheme of the boat. The sheaves are made from high-strength nylon and run on stainless steel axis bolts, that in sizes 4"-7" have a patented safeguard against unscrewing.Nevertheless, we suggest further securing the axes with covering plates. These blocks conform to standards set by Lloyds Register of Shipping and Bureau Veritas. The safe working load (SWL) is 1/5 of the given breaking load (BRL).

Solid fuel stove SALAMANDER SE
B (mm): 302 | H (mm): 460 | T (mm): 355 | model: Stove standard version | output (kW): 4,0 | weight (kg): 50
The small SALAMANDER SE cast iron stove has been specially developed for small rooms. It can be used to burn logs, coal or eco-briquettes. Its heat output is 4 kW.The SALAMANDER SE solid fuel stove is available in two versions: a standard version and a version with a separate fresh air supply. The models with fresh air supply have an integrated air box at the rear of the stove, to which a flexible stainless steel air supply hose (diameter: 80 mm) is connected. This hose has a variable length of 300 mm to 1250 mm (extended). In addition to the supply air hose, the scope of delivery also includes all the necessary installation materials such as hose clips and an external cover. The efficiency of the stoves is a very good 81.4 percent. The low particulate and gas emissions comply with the European ECO DESIGN regulations and even fall below the new, stricter limit values of the HETAS Cleaner Choice Scheme. This means that the SALAMANDER SE can be operated in the so-called "smoke-free zones" in the UK. The HETAS Cleaner Choice Scheme is designed to help improve air quality in the UK through strict limits on smoke emissions and particulate matter. The user-friendly air regulator on the front of the stove allows the secondary and tertiary air supply to be precisely adjusted. The firing rate and flame pattern can therefore be controlled very precisely. The preheated tertiary air inlet also ensures efficient, clean combustion. The secondary combustion technology keeps the large viewing window clean.Installation is possible not only on board ships, but also in construction trailers or mobile tiny houses. The exhaust pipe connection has an internal diameter of 4" (100 mm) and a slightly conical external diameter of 115 mm. This means that pipes with an outer diameter of 100 mm can be inserted into the flange or pipes with an inner diameter of 115 mm can be attached. We offer an adapter for our REFLEKS stainless steel pipes of size 114 mm so that the entire REFLEKS exhaust pipe system can be used.Accessories:4356-100: Stove substructure to raise the stove by 158 mm, which also creates space for firewood.4356-101: Flue flange 90° allows the flue system to be installed at the back of the stove instead of the top.4356-103: Vermiculite plates can be replaced with the side cast-iron heat storage plates in the SALAMANDER SE.The SALAMANDER SE is supplied with cast iron heat storage plates as standard. Compared to cast iron plates, the firebox with vermiculite plates heats up much faster due to its insulating properties, which increases the efficiency of the stove.4356-108: Removable hotplate, increases the thermal mass of the SALAMANDER stove by 7 kg . The plate considerably increases the cooking surface. It can only be used if the flue gas pipe system is fitted to the rear of the stove.4356-109 4356-110: Heat protection, sturdy steel construction to shield the hot stove from surrounding walls and furniture. When using the SALAMANDER stove with base frame, the high heat protection must be used. The heat protection is supplied in four parts and is quick and easy to install.4282-115: Flue pipe adapter, for REFLEKS stainless steel pipes size 114 mm.4356-210 4356-211 Brass fittings conversion kitSpare parts:These items are supplied with every stove, but are also available as replacements.4356-104: Glass pane as a spare part if the pane in the stove is damaged and needs to be replaced.4356-105: Multitool, tool for operating the hot stove. The shaking grate, air control, ash drawer and doors can be operated without burning your fingers.4356-106 Sweeper and shovel for cleaning the oven.4356-107 Door lock

Tarred housing/spunyarn (PP)
Tarred twine, made from hemp-colored polypropylene staple fibers. The tarring process allows this twine to bind well and makes it extremely UV-resistant and absolutely rot-proof.Ideal for attaching hanks and ratlines, for whipping, for cringles and much more.Comes in three classic thicknesses: marline (thin), housing (middle) and spun (heavy). Tarred yarn has been used aboard sailing ships for rigging, to serve and knot tying, as well as for tying ratlines and hanks for centuries. In Scandinavia especially, the twine made from two yarns tarred caulk (Dansk Merling) is used for fancy work.MARLINE, made from 3 threads (when PP it is only made from 2 threads), is suitable for example for serving wires of 14mm maximum. HOUSING is made from 4 threads (when PP it is only made from 3 threads) and is commonly used for serving and tying in of ratlines. SPUNYARN is made from 7-8 threads and is mostly used to serve thick splicesAdditionly we offer a somewhat thinner 5-strand SPUNYARN which has been proven to serve wires from 20mm thickness. Historically these yarns were made from hemp which had to be impregnated in Swedish tar for conservation. Wood tar is washed out by rain and spindrift unfortunately, with the effect, that the materials used in the rig have to be newly tarred twice a year.Nowadays those tarred yarns are made from rot-proof PP staple fibre (SPLEITEKS) threads. As a protection against UV rays these also have to be tarred now and then, but they forgive a lack of maintenance much better than natural fibres.

WEATHERDOCK easyTRX3S AIS transponder with WiFi and MeSense
The easyTRX3S is the further development of the easyTRX3 AIS Class B transponder with SOTDMA technology and 5 watt transmission power. WiFi and ME SENSE Relay for smart boat monitoring have been added to the transponder. With the standard WiFi module, all AIS data received via the NMEA network can be forwarded to a wirelessly connected end device such as a tablet or smartphone or to a chart plotter. Thanks to its Bluetooth functionality, the easyTRX3S can also serve as the heart of the ME SENSE yacht monitoring system. The data from up to 20 sensors and 10 actuators is transmitted to the relay via Bluetooth. From there, it is transmitted to the ME SENSE app via the marina's Wi-Fi network or your own LTE router. This allows the yacht itself to be monitored conveniently from home.SOTDMA technologyBased on AIS Class B SOTDMA (Self Organized Time Division Multiple Access) technology, the easyTRX3S transmits with higher (5 watts) transmission power and priority. The transmission slots for the next four transmissions are reserved automatically. Even in areas with high traffic volumes, the easyTRX3S is always able to transmit position reports, as SOTDMA has priority over regular AIS Class B devices with CSTDMA (Carrier Sense Time Division Multiple Access). The higher transmission rate improves the visibility of your own AIS position reports on AIS-capable systems.Integrated GPS antenna and active VHF antenna splitterThe integrated GPS antenna increases the independence of mounting the easyTRX3S device on board. On GRP and wooden yachts, only a power connection and a VHF connection are required. On steel yachts, the external GPS antenna available as an accessory improves reception. The integrated, active VHF antenna splitter ensures that the same antenna can be used for VHF radio and AIS. The preamplifier reduces the physical loss to a minimum.FeaturesInternationally certified AIS Class B transponderSOTDMA (time slot method) technology with 5 watts of radiated transmission powerFaster transmission intervals (depending on the speed of the vessel)Complies with the new international standard IEC62287-2CPA alarm & anchor alarmInternal memory for recording travel data (black box)Configuration of the device with USB power supply possibleInternal data memory can be read out with USB power supplyIntegrated WiFiIntegrated antenna splitterIntegrated GPS antennaConnections: NMEA2000, NMEA0183 and USBWater-, weather-, shock- and vibration-resistant, handy housingIoT ME SENSE yacht monitoringAlternatively available with additional LAN or DVB-T/FM radio moduleTechnical data1 channel VHF transmitter2-channel VHF receiver (AIS frequencies: 161.975 MHz and 162.025 MHz)72-channel GNSS/GPS receiverChannel sensitivity: = -112 dBmProtection class: IP67 (dust and waterproof against temporary submersion)Intended for installation below deckOperating temperature: -10°C to + 55°CNMEA output message: VDMTransmission power: 5 WOperating voltage: 9 - 32 voltsDimensions (L/W/H): 190 x 135 x 60 mmWeight: approx. 700 gScope of deliveryeasyTRX3S transpondereasyTRX3S connection cable (approx. 2 m)Connection cable easyTRX3S to VHF radiotelephone (approx. 1 m)USB connection cable (approx. 1.8 m)Quick guide (the detailed user manual can be downloaded from the internal memory)Programming software for Windows PC and Apple Mac on internal memoryWiFi antennasApprovalsApproved by BSHAIS according to IEC 62287-2:2017Environment according to IEC 60945:2002GPS according to IEC 61108-2003 and EN 301843-1:2004Product safety according to EN 60950-1 ITU-R M.1371-5

BODDEN UND HAFFE (EENL) / Volker Pesch
Volker Pesch sets off alone in a Zeesboot to explore the unique Bodden and Haffe - these shallow waters behind the coast of the Baltic Sea.The course of the trip through the Bodden chain from Dierhagen on the Saaler Bodden, through the Strelasund, into the Greifswalder Bodden, up the Peenestrom and to the Polish harbors on the Oderhaff is the central theme of his atmospheric essay. It also deals with the birdlife, the history, the biotope and the light above the water. It is also a declaration of love for the original, simple sailing of a wooden boat without any technical frills. When Volker Pesch realizes that he likes the smell of kerosene when lighting the stove on board in the evening, he reminisces about a "chandler for old ships. He then stocks tow and pitch for caulking the planks, linseed oil and root tar for preservation, braided hemp ropes, wooden blocks and jufferns for bracing the masts. And heavy boatbuilding tools, navigation lights, stoves, lamps, cast-iron ship's toilets - in short, everything that makes my heart happy."In the appendix, the book contains specific and special tips and links to destinations. QR codes take you further. A map makes it easy to follow the course of the trip. After studying political science, history and philosophy, Volker Pesch moved from Cologne to Greifswald in the mid-1990s as a research assistant. After gaining his doctorate and a permanent position as a civil servant, he left the university circus and opened a sailing school on the Greifswalder Bodden, chartered sailing yachts and helped build up a maritime youth hotel. He then became a copywriter and designer with his own agency and time for sailing. Among other things, Volker Pesch was the owner and skipper of the traditional ship NORDWIND, co-founder of the Greifswald museum shipyard and chairman of the Greifswald museum harbor. He continues to write to this day: articles for newspapers and magazines, crime novels, short stories and non-fiction books.144 pages, with photographs, maps and other illustrations, hardcover with ribbon marker, size 15 x 21.5 cm.European essays on nature and landscape (EENL)In its EENL series, Hamburg-based Klaas Jarchow Media Buchverlag (KJM) collects authors' texts on landscapes and natural phenomena in Germany and Europe.
