ROPE Fender with Tapered Ends
Rub rail made of hemp-colored, laid polypropylene (PP) rope with stainless steel wire core. UV stabilized and absolutely rot resistant.
Always supplied with hand tapered ends rigged with rigging twine. In addition, a bow fender can also be braided onto the rope.
The price is composed of
- the rope per meter
- the tapered ends per pair
- if desired, the braided bow fender per piece
This all-round fender is made to order in solid craftsmanship quality as a custom-made product for your ship. We need the following information from you:
- Rope color and diameter,
- bow fender diameter and length (optional),
- Total length of the fender stretched taut, from pressure point to pressure point (see drawing). When measuring, take into calculation the diameter of the cordage: temporarily attach small wooden blocks (thickness = half the diameter of the cordage) at the desired position of the fender and measure the length over the wooden blocks.
