Precision aneroid barograph for recording atmospheric air pressure. The measuring element is a 7-fold membrane cell set made of a copper-beryllium alloy, which has proven to be ideal for pressure measurement due to its elastic properties. The vibration-damped mechanical measuring mechanism made of polished brass is ideal for use at sea.

Available with mechanical or quartz movement.

Ageing, hysteresis and elastic after-effects are practically non-existent with this barograph. A bimetal compensates for the temperature influence on the can set and the transmission system over the entire measuring range from 955 to 1055 hPa and in the temperature range from -30 to +40 °C. All axes of the precision mechanical movement are mounted in jewel bearings, so that the instrument has only minimal static friction.

Available with mechanical winding movement (FISCHER 287M) for daily and weekly circulation, changeable. The circulation times are 25.6 h / 176 h.

Alternatively with quartz movement (FISCHER 287MQ) for daily, weekly and monthly circulation, changeable. The circulation times are 25.6 h / 176 h / 783 h.

The measuring technology is housed in a hinged, mahogany-colored real wood case with brass handle.
