Combination model suitable for heating and cooking. The rectangular cabin oven has a height of just 455 mm and, with its compact dimensions of 275 x 435 mm (width x depth), also fits into a small niche.
As is usual with DICKINSON, the stove is made entirely of stainless steel, with a black burnished perforated plate fitted around the perimeter to protect against contact and scuffing.
Required exhaust accessories: 4" / 102 mm (see accessories & spare parts).
The diesel oil regulator is easily accessible at the front of the stove.
A viewing window allows the flame to be checked from the outside.
The stove quickly reaches operating temperature thanks to the built-in support fan; the switch and speed regulator are located in a box that can be mounted separately.
The stove is equipped with the tried and tested 6" airflow burner.
Heat output and oil consumption (min/max): 1.9/4.75 kW - 0.24/0.6 l/h.
Weight of the stove: 11 kg.
The exhaust outlet leaves enough space for a kettle or a pot on the removable cast iron hotplate.
DICKINSON marine oil stoves and ovens from Canada, built since 1932. Originally designed for fishing and commercial shipping, all stoves are characterized by a simple but well thought-out design and solid construction.
All stoves are, as far as possible, made of stainless steel. The hotplates are made of surface-ground cast iron.
How they work: All ovens work according to the simple principle of the bowl burner. Either diesel oil or heating oil can be used.
The oil runs from a tank, which must be installed at least 30 cm higher than the stove, with a natural gradient to the stove regulator. If no tank can be installed, it is also possible to use an electric oil feed pump.
The adjustable oil regulator - developed and manufactured by DICKINSON - regulates the correct oil supply to the burner bowl and ensures a safety shutdown via a float if the flame should go out unintentionally.
Reliable operation, as there are no electrical or electronic components that are susceptible to faults. The regulator has a safety cut-out integrated into the control knob, which permanently interrupts the oil supply at temperatures above 75°C. The stoves work very quietly and give off a pleasant, dry heat!
To support combustion - especially when lighting the stove or in difficult draught conditions - the adjustable fan under the burner bowl can be switched on.
For optimum combustion, all stoves are equipped with a removable flame catalyst ("superheater").
