This special steel is a little less resistant to seawater on the one hand, but on the other stays sharp for a very long period of time.
The blade has a straight cut throughout and can be re-sharpened.

With the exception of the blade, the AQUATERRA OEKO is a knife, that is made exclusively made from renewable raw materials. The resin for the shell type handle is made from ricinus oil and oyster shell powder.
It exhibits the same "Soft Grip" surface as the other WICHARD knifes.
