It preserves clean drinking water and keeps it free of germs, algae and odors.The effect of Micropur Classic is based on the bacteriostatic and bactericidal properties of silver. Unlike chlorine, which acts in water for only a few hours, silver ions make water last up to 6 months. The silver ions attach themselves to the cell walls of microorganisms and thus prevent their growth.MICROPUR CLASSIC can be used wherever drinking water remains in a system for a long time, such as in cisterns or water tanks. It is ideal for water conservation in a boat, camper or caravan.Suitable for clear water, not for muddy water, as suspended solids can impair the effect of the silver ions.
