This high-tensile and absolute water-proof epoxy is seen as a supplement to the existing WEST SYTEM epoxy products, which carries on where the standard system reaches its limits.
In addition to the known good properties of WEST epoxy resins G/flex offers a especially high permanent flexibility (approx.30% ultimate elongation), a high peeling strength and a high tolerance towards moist surfaces.
Especially well suited for all structural bonded joints where strong stresses of expansion, contraction, shock and vibration have to be absorbed, for instance at the joining of wood and metal or of types of timber that expand differently, as well as when bonding fittings to wood and other materials. Very well applicable for problematic timber that by itself can absorb little resin like teak and oak.
G/flex has a user-friendly mixture ratio of 1:1 and can even be employed on wet surfaces with restrictions. It is also suited for GRP repairs as well as for the adhesion of problematic plastics like Polyethylene (PE) and PVC.
Additional package sizes are available upon request.
