Marker buoy made from fibreglass tubing, in accordance with the provisions of the IOR/ISAF/ORC for regatta participants.
The orange lifting body is made from indestructible soft PVC, such as is used for fenders.
The lead ballast is integrated in the foot of the tube.
Comes with 3 m of floating line, a red-yellow 350 x 450 mm signal flag, and a clamp in which the flag is furled and held.
Telescoping: 1.95 m; extended length: 3.50 m, 2.30 m height above the water line.
The height buoy light (not included in the shipment) is placed on top of the buoy; the continuous light is switched on using a magnetic switch that is activated when the buoy goes overboard.
Works with a 9 V alkaline battery (not included).

The neon yellow rescue marker buoy is equipped with an integrated horseshoe lifesaver. After opening the case the buoy drops into the water and activates itself: a 60g CO² cartridge inflates the system, a flash light is activated and a sea anchor prevents the drifting off by wind and waves from the place of the accident. The person gone overboard attaches him/herself to the rescue strap of the buoy, is supported by the lifesaver and can be pulled from the water by the strap.Measurements of the container: 290 x 230 x 125 mm. The JON BUOY combination of danbuoy and horseshoe impresses with its compact, unobtrusive dimensions.Stowed in either a white or black (carbon look), impact-resistant hard case, the combination is simply attached to the railing. There, its small dimensions and attractive design make it hardly noticeable.In the event of a person-overboard emergency, the container is opened, causing the danbuoy and the horseshoe to fall into the water, where they inflate automatically.The danbuoy makes it much easier to find the injured person in the water. The innovative, retroreflective Glo Lite technology makes the hi-vis fabric highly reflective.
