The easy2-MOB from the German manufacturer Weatherdock is a small man overboard beacon (MOB) with DSC and AIS alerting.The easy2-MOB was developed for recreational boating, but is also used by the Spanish customs and border police Servicio de Vigilancia Aduanera, for example. The technology is the same as in the easyRESCUE AIS-SART, except for the slightly lower transmission power, which means that MED/SOLAS approval is not required.The easy2-MOB is simply packed "upside down" between the folded float of the automatic lifejacket and knotted to a loop or D-ring of the vest using the safety line.
