Handcrafted in the UK, Echomax radar reflectors have become one of the best-known passive radar reflectors worldwide. They are fitted on numerous pleasure vessels, by leading buoy manufacturers in Europe, Australia, the USA, and Canada, and by port and harbor authorities worldwide. Additionally, many foreign navies, including US nuclear submarines, the Dutch, French, US, Danish, Swedish, and UK navies, use Echomax products.
Echomax offers custom-made radar reflectors specifically tailored to the requirements and space constraints of various applications, providing proven response performance. All Echomax products are tested in the QinetiQ Anechoic Chamber, and test results are freely available to ensure transparency and trust.
Echomax's product range includes both passive and active radar reflectors. The EM230 and EM230BR are Ships Wheel Mark certified to ISO 8729-1997 for lifeboats, and the inflatable EMA03i carries SOLAS certification for liferaft use. In 2010, Echomax introduced the Active-X Radar Target Enhancer, followed by the dual-band Active-XS version in 2011, which meets ISO 8729-2 standards and is recognized as one of the best RTEs in the world.
