The MIGHTY MARINER is an electronic engine control unit for single or twin engine systems, developed by the Canadian specialist KOBELT for the pleasure craft sector and professional applications.The console control units (control heads) are made of bronze, with a polished or chrome-plated surface. They are also available with a black or white coating on request.Up to four control stations can be connected to this compact, low-cost system. A system always consists of one (or more) console operating unit(s) per control station (e.g. KOBELT CONTROL HEAD 6505) and one control motor (ACTUATOR 6527) per machine.The control motor then regulates the engine speed and gearbox via conventional control cables so that no changes need to be made to the control elements on the engine.Microprocessor-controlledSimple communication between the components via CAN busConnection only with easy-to-lay data cable (must be ordered separately).Data cable length up to 40 metres - therefore also suitable for large yachts with long switching paths.Integrated functions that can be used from any helm position:Precise switching functionAdjustable shift delay for speed and gearboxWarm-up functionIdle switch as start interlockStation lockTemperature and cable self-monitoring.The installation of two-motor synchronisation is possible.
