The DEEP-PIPE immersion tube sensor is the ideal sensor for fuel tanks. The level is measured by a float enclosed in a vertical tube (diameter 38 mm). Small holes at the top and bottom of the tube compensate for the surge of fuel in the tank so that the float position remains stable in any sea state.
Measuring range 90-4 Ohm matched to VERATRON VDO VIEWLINE marine instruments for immersion tube transducers. (see accessories)
An optionally available 6 m long connection cable with TE Superseal plug can be used to make a watertight plug-in connection to the tank sensor in accordance with IP67.
Other sensors are available in various lengths from 150 mm to 1200 mm.
When dimensioning the corresponding length, a minimum distance to the tank bottom of 4 mm must be taken into account.
