Das FLINsail versorgt Sie mit eigenem Strom, wenn Sie mit Ihrer Segelyacht vor Anker oder im Hafen liegen.

Das FLINsail ist ein modulares Solarsystem, das in der Mastnut wie ein Segel gehisst und geführt wird. Mit Führungsleinen aus Dyneema lassen sich die Solarmodule um die horizontale Achse in einem optimalen Winkel zur Sonne synchron ausrichten und erzielen so eine sehr hohe Effizienz, auch in den Morgen- und Abendstunden.

Mit Hilfe der patentierten FLIN-Mastrutscher lässt sich das FLINsail oberhalb des Großsegels fest in die Mastnut einklicken oder auf einer T-Schiene aufsetzen, das Großsegel kann in der Mastnut bleiben. Wir liefern für ihr Mastsystem die passenden Mastrutscher. Bitte teilen Sie uns unter Bemerkungen dazu die Breite Ihrer Mastnut oder Ihrer T-Schiene mit (siehe Zeichnung bei den Bildern).

Die Anzahl der Solarmodule des FLINsails ist an den Energieverbrauch Ihrer Segelyacht angepasst. Durch den modularen Aufbau sind Ausführungen mit zwei bis sechs Solarpanelen möglich. Das obere und untere Sorlarmodul ist jeweils versteift, so dass das FLINsail auch bei starkem Wind eingesetzt werden kann. Beim 2M-FLINsail light wird auf die Versteifung des Moduls verzichtet. Es ist somit preiswerter und dazu sehr leicht, für starken Wind empfehlen wir das verstärkte Moul 2M-FLINsail tough.

Während des Segelns wird das FLINsail in der mitgelieferten Transporttasche gelagert. Wird das FLINsail gesetzt, lässt sich die Tasche über Gummischlaufen auf dem Großbaum befestigen, so dass sich die Solarmodule  - ähnlich wie ein Großsegel aus Lazy Bags - in den Mast ziehen lassen.

Zum Laden Ihrer Bordbatterien wird zusätzlich ein Solarladeregler benötigt. Für den 12 Volt Betrieb empfehlen wir den MPPT SmartSolar Laderegler von Victron Energie mit dem sie die Ladeleistung über das Smartphone überwachen können. Die App hilft dabei die optimale Ausrichtung ihres FLINsails zu finden.

FLINstripe solar module for boom cover

FLINrail solar panel for the railing
The FLINrail is the perfect solar solution for retrofitting on board. The bifacial solar module uses the front and back to capture solar energy and therefore delivers similar daily yields as two classic solar modules of the same size when mounted vertically.The system can be easily mounted on the railing wire of your yacht using the integrated clamps. Additional lines fix the module in place using snap hooks and allow it to be continuously aligned with the sun. A line runs from each corner and is hidden in the frame of the solar module. The loose ends are clipped into the foot railing or the lower railing wire using the carabiners. When the FLINrail+ is aligned, the loose lines pull themselves into the frame of the module at the push of a button and tighten.
