The FLINstripe uses the surface of the boom cover to generate solar energy and thus maintain the battery charge. Depending on the length of the boom, up to three FLINstripes can be connected.
The solar module is attached to the boom cover or lazy bag using Velcro strips and can be used at anchor and in the harbor as well as when sailing. The Velcro straps must be sewn onto the tarboom cover by a sailmaker.
For optimum energy yield, both sides of the boom cover can be fitted with FLINstripes to charge the batteries with solar power throughout the day while sailing, in the harbor and at anchor.
FLIN quality: The solar modules use multi-busbar technology, which offers a particularly high number of electrical contacts due to its design. This redundancy results in a significantly longer service life for the module due to the lower load on the individual conductors. In addition, the semi-flexible solar panels are extremely robust and resistant despite their low weight. The cables of the innovative FLIN solar systems are sheathed with Dyneema fibers. This offers optimum protection even under extreme conditions. To ensure a reliable power supply for the on-board electrical system, all components of FLIN products are manufactured with high precision in Europe.
Our price applies to one module, the pictures show several modules in a row. Please select a starboard or port module, depending on where you want to place the FLINstripes.
