A wind generator that has proven its quality, reliability and performance on yachts, ships and on shore for almost 20 years. This generator delivers energy autonomously and unattended even under extreme conditions. Perfectly matched components result in an overall system of highest operational safety and reliability.
Similar to a large wind turbine, the SUPERWIND 350 adjusts its rotor blades, thus limiting aerodynamic loads where they occur, directly on the rotor. High loads on the entire structure are avoided and the service life is increased. The control mechanism is fully integrated into the hub and thus protected against environmental influences.
The SUPERWIND Type 350-II features even better bearing technology, making it suitable for very rough sites. The patented, fully synchronized rotor hub ensures a very high turbulence resistance and, together with the optimized rotor bearing, increases stability and durability.
Combination with solar systems is possible.
Available for 12V, 24V and 48 on-board power supply.
The optional stop switch is used to electromechanically stop the wind generator if it is not to be operated or if the rotor is to be prevented from starting. When used on sailing yachts, the installation of the stop switch is strongly recommended in order to be able to shut down the Superwind at sea in extreme weather.
The charge controller, which must be ordered separately, also includes the load resistors that dissipate excess energy when the battery is fully charged.
A mounting spigot for a 1 1/2" pipe mast (inner diameter = 44.3 mm) and an adapter sleeve for a 2" pipe (with different inner diameters) are included.
