They have the required approval (type examination by the BSH - Bundesamt für Seeschifffahrt und Hydrographie).

Poycarbonate lenses of navigationlights can become brittle and dull after years of UV exposure, so replacing the lenses may be advisable. The lenses come with four pop rivets, and the seal kit includes two soft rubber seals. The electrical insert with bayonet socket is also replaceable.
