These DAVEY deck lights are designed for installation in thicker traditional wooden decks: The glass body is inserted directly into the matching cut-out in the deck and sealed in, a small recess on the top of the lemon allows a deck light ring to be fitted precisely. The rings are made of bronze or stainless steel. Manufactured by the traditional British company DAVEY London.
A flat glass prism or the ‘melon’ is available. The ‘melon’ prism from DAVEY is a solid glass body in a classically beautiful shape that achieves exceptionally good light diffusion. The traditional method of illuminating rooms below deck effectively and cosily with daylight.
The dimensions of these cast products may vary slightly.
The DAVEY cover prisms and cover rings are not supplied together, but must be ordered separately.
Caution: The distance between the melon and fixtures below deck must be at least 600 mm, as it acts like a burning glass.
