Thanks to the non-slip and shock-absorbing NBR Longlife rubber armouring, the lens is resistant to oil, acid and salt water. The unique floating prism bearing ensures the permanently elastic mounting of the optical parts and the best possible protection against impacts. This means that the adjustment remains precise for decades. The binoculars are also water pressure-tight up to 10 m, have a nitrogen pressure filling to prevent fogging and can be used in a temperature range from -40 to +80 °C. All this adds up to robustness.
