Compensation, illumination, cover and bearing pin are included.

SIGMA is available in black or white, the paint is seawater resistant.

A typical installation location is the sliding hatch or the cabin deck, so that the reading can be taken from the helm station.

Clear, easy to read scale with 5° graduation. When the cover is removed, the reading can be made from above on the horizontal rose. In backlit conditions, the cover is replaced and the compass can be read from the vertical rose.

The SIGMA compass can be easily removed from its mounting within seconds and can then be safely stowed below deck. For this purpose an optional second base plate can be ordered which is fixed below deck. A second base plate can also be fitted to a second cruising stand so that the compass can be moved if required.

The supplied shadow or bearing pin is used for astronomical deviation control.

Each compass is individually tested and certified.
