The 1-component, air-moisture hardening silane-based deck joint compound is very well suited for deck joints of 3-10 mm width.The TEAKDECKING SYSTEMS deck caulk runs very well during application and does not shrink during hardening. When hardened, it is easy to sand, extremely flexible and highly resistant to UV light. A primer is not recommended for teak deck caulking. However, the joints must be well sanded and cleaned with acetone.
