The paint is based on a modified alkyd-urethane resin. It adheres extremely well to teak and other oily woods, is very water-repellent, very breathable and flexible. It provides a lightly pigmented UV-protection finish, protects against discoloration and supports the natural wood grain. On weathered surfaces, RAPIDCLEAR can restore a uniform appearance.

With its quick drying, grain filling properties, it is suitable for fast and easy build-up of varnish without sanding needed between layers. This makes it a great base coating for the final application with EPIFANES Clear Gloss Varnish or EPIFANES Woodfinish Gloss. Can be applied on existing one- and two-component varnishes as well.
