The LACQ yacht varnish is produced by the Dutch company Vliegenthart using traditional methods and consists mainly of Chinese wood oils and phenolic resins. Although this means that it dries longer than many synthetic varnishes, it also has a better durability. The high-gloss surface remains elastic after drying and is extremely robust and weatherproof. The varnish also contains a UV filter that offers maximum protection against sunlight, even in tropical climates.

Suitable for use on raw and unvarnished wood (e.g. mahogany, meranti, Oregon pine), as well as plywood inside and outside above the waterline. Can also be used to maintain existing, intact one- and two-component lacquer systems. Can be applied with a brush or spray gun.
