IMP Impregnating Oil is a transparent wood impregnation made from a drying alkyd resin oil. Due to its excellent penetration properties, it has a preventive effect against rot and fungal infestation when the wood is impregnated because air and moisture are displaced. Dries in a short time, is water vapor permeable and water repellent. Suitable as a saturating primer for further coatings such as BENAR oils and other single-component coatings. For the sole treatment (matt surface) for spars and masts, we recommend applying "wet on wet" until the wood is completely saturated. Suitable for all types of wood.

Application: The product is ready to use and should not be diluted. Stir well before use. The product can be applied with a brush or roller. Clean tools with turpentine substitute.

Yield: approx. 3-6m2/l.

Clear alkyd oil for impregnating raw wood to saturate it before applying varnish. Also suitable for the treatment of hardwoods, both indoors and outdoors above the waterline.Application: Before applying to untreated wood, ensure that the surface is dry and clean (wood moisture content should be below 16%). Remove dust and loose material from surfaces that have already been treated. Stir the container well and apply 2-4 coats wet on wet with a brush until the wood is saturated and no more oil is absorbed.
