Originally developed for tropical hard woods, BENAR-Oil stood the test of time for the treatment of all woods on board. BENAR-ÖL means moisture release, long oil and high gloss wood treatment. It provides a varnish finish effect with very high penetration and breathing properties, allowing humidity to be released without peeling off and to move together with breathable wood without cracking. Substrate to be dry and free of contamination. To be applied over newly sanded surface or on old surfaces previously coated with BENAR MARINE in good condition.BENAR-Oil GLOSSY is a slow-hardening wood-protectant (without fungicide) withbreathable finish, similar to varnish.It provides for an exceptionally long lasting interval before reconditioning. Sanding before repeating coats is not necessary. For a new conserving protection, 4 coats are recommended.Yield: 14-16m.sq./l.If a matt finish is desired when preserving wood with BENAR-OIL, apply BENAR-OIL MATTE as the final coat.For soft and light-sensitive timbers and horizontal surfaces outdoors, that are directly exposed to the sun, we recommend BENAR-ÖL UVR or BENAR-ÖL MARINE.Wood susceptible to fungi should be pretreated with our fungicidal impregnating oil IMP.

The wood darkens with each application. Absolutely recommended for light-sensitive woods.If a matt finish is desired when preserving wood with BENAR-OIL, apply BENAR-OIL MATTE as the final coat.BENAR-Oil is a successful specialist product for the conservation of woods, for the interior and outside. A great alternative for classic wood oil systems suited especially for resinous tropical wood types and American pine. This high-gloss, one-component clear varnish with UV filter adheres very well to sanded, oil-containing wood types such as teak or iroco.With a layer build of less than five coats, the varnish oil still remains breathable. With more layers of varnish, the wood closes completely. EPIFANES Stain for Wood or Clear Varnish

Fast-drying, solvent-based stain for coloring and tinting wood, available in reddish mahogany shade and reddish brown teak shade.The stain has a very long color stability and can be recoated with most 1- and 2-component paint systems.For color intensification, up to 3 coats can be applied to the raw wood.For repair painting and color lamination of existing surfaces, up to 10% EPIFANES stain can be added to most 1- and 2-component clear coats. Can be recoated after 2 hours at 18°C. Shake well prior to use. Do not thin.Coverage: 4-7sqm/ 500ml, depending on substrate and application method.
