The 1-component, air-moisture hardening silane-based deck joint compound is very well suited for deck joints of 3-10 mm width.The TEAKDECKING SYSTEMS deck caulk runs very well during application and does not shrink during hardening. When hardened, it is easy to sand, extremely flexible and highly resistant to UV light. A primer is not recommended for teak deck caulking. However, the joints must be well sanded and cleaned with acetone. YACHTCARE EPOXY JOINT PASTE is a 2-component, viscous epoxy paste for bonding teak deck joints. This product offers the possibility of re-grouting an existing wooden deck and at the same time repairing defective bonding to the substrate. There should still be at least 5mm of teak covering. The flank adhesion on a clean teak substrate is excellent, the material is permanently flexible. Mixing ratio 2:1
Very elastic, highly extensible and UV-resistant marine deck caulking sealant based on Alcoxy Silicone Rubber. Good sanding properties. For an ideal adhesion when jointing wooden decks with SIKAFLEX-290 DC PRO it is highly advised to undercoat the joint flanks with SIKA-Primer 290 DC.This transparent, low viscosity primer is applied masking and has to be allowed to evaporate for at least one hour before the jointing, which has to be done in the time frame of 24 hours. It is used for airtight, dustproof and watertight sealing of overlapping joints, screw connections, joints, seams, rebates or small holes.
