YACHTICON Black Primer is used as an adhesion primer for MS polymer-based window adhesives, such as BOSTIK SIMSON CA.

The primer effectively improves the adhesion between the window (glass or acrylic) and the adhesive. It has excellent covering power and UV stability and prevents sunlight refraction in the glass from destroying the adhesive contact.

The thin liquid of the primer ensures low consumption, this should be taken into account during application to avoid unwanted wetting.

YACHTICON Black Primer is used as an adhesion primer for MS polymer-based window adhesives, such as BOSTIK SIMSON CA.

Primers are not absolutely necessary for use with SIMSON adhesives and sealants. On all smooth, clean, dry and oil-free surfaces (metal, painted surfaces, PVC, GRP) a good bond is possible primer-free.Primers are recommended in the following cases:Primer SIMSON M: With smooth problematic surfaces or with surfaces expected to have high dynamic loads Primer M or EASY PREP wipes should be used. Primer M or EASY PREP wipes should be used to degrease surfaces and to promote adhesion.Primer SIMSON P: With unfinished wood surfaces or other porous absorbent bases (masonry, concrete), Primer P should be used.Cleaner SIMSON E: Cleaning tools and degreasing surfaces for bonding.Primer SIMSON PREP G plus: Special black primer for pre-treatment when bonding glass (without ceramic coating), plastic glass (PMMA/PC) and anodized and bare aluminium.Primer requirement: approx. 50 ml per 290 ml cartridge, EASY PREP Wipes 2-4 qm/pcs.
