Ball valve made of seawater resistant bronze CC491K. The stainless steel handle (AISI 304) is covered with PVC (the colour may differ from the one in the photo).

The ball is made of PPS plastic, a semi-crystalline thermoplastic with excellent mechanical and chemical resistance properties that are retained at high temperatures. The special surface of the ball prevents the adhesion of dirt and incrustations.

The BLAKES seacocks made of bronze (seawater-resistant bronze alloy CC491K - CuSn5Zn5Pb5) are characterised by a very robust, easy-to-maintain design that enables decades of use. The passage is opened and closed by means of a cone that does not require a seal and can be lubricated from the inside via a grease nipple. The valve body, the nozzle for the hose connection and the through-hull are made from a single casting, the assembly is carried out by screwing it to the hull using the enclosed bolts and a pressure plate.
