HADEX is a liquid disinfectant designed for the safe treatment of drinking water on board ships, yachts, and offshore installations. It is added directly to the drinking water system and effectively eliminates harmful microorganisms such as bacteria, viruses, and algae. HADEX is safe for human consumption and complies with international standards for drinking water safety.
The chemical composition is based on an aqueous solution of sodium hypochlorite (NaOCl) with an active chlorine content of approximately 5 %. This ensures effective and controlled disinfection of the drinking water.
Application takes place either when filling water tanks or when treating existing water supplies. HADEX requires no contact time, does not alter the taste or smell of the water, and provides continuous protection of water quality during storage on board.
Dosage Instructions:
- Standard dosage: 1 litre of HADEX for 50 m³ of water
- For smaller volumes:
- 20 ml of HADEX for 1,000 litres of water
- 1 ml of HaADEX for 50 litres of water
- Add Hadex directly into the water during tank filling or for subsequent treatment.
- Shake well before use.
Approvals and Certifications:
- Approved as a drinking water disinfectant by the Dutch CTGB, registration number 9947N
- Registered by the German Federal Institute for Risk Assessment (BfR), registration number N-69753
