The solidity of this rather heavy material allows the stringers of these traditionally built and riveted blocks to be slightly thinner, which gives the blocks an elegant appearance.

The hardware is matte stained stainless steel (AISI316) and the sheave is black ERTACETAL plastic with a low-friction, maintenance-free composite plain bearing. The strong stainless steel axle is secured against twisting and falling out.
