Forged stainless steel shackle in extra wide shape. Straight with screw bolt.
European brand product made from high-quality and highly corrosion-resistant stainless steel 1.4404 (AISI316L).
Unlike shackles made from investment casting, for example, forged shackles have directional lines of force in their molecular structure, which means that the same strength must be applied to each forged part!
The use of forged parts is strongly recommended for applications in safety-relevant areas.
The following applies to all forged stainless steel items: they do not break suddenly, but deform prematurely. This is a not insignificant safety aspect, as overloading is also visually recognizable in good time.
If you want to be on the safe side, stainless steel shackles should be loaded with a maximum of 1/4 of the specified breaking load (BRL) in normal use.
Only tested shackles with a specified safe working load (SWL) should be used for lifting loads.
