Hand-sewn sailcloth bag (150x80 mm) with strong brass grommet.
Made from rot-proof DURADON in the colour maroon (red). The bag is filled with fine sand.
A heaving line is thrown ashore with the heaving line weight to create a line connection and thus pull the actual mooring line ashore.
We recommend our SPLEITEX rope or braided PP multi-line as a throwline. Lifelines made from PP split can also be used, but are less grippy. You will find throwing lines further down on this page under "Similar products".
