Attention: The battery does not fit the newer GlobalFix V5 and GlobalFix V6 EPIRBs. For these, the battery must be replaced by a service company.

In the GlobalFix V4 EPIRB, the battery can be changed independently. Transporting the battery in a car within Germany is permitted without any restrictions. If the battery is to be transported in an aircraft, please check with the airline in advance.
