HAMMAR H20R - Hydrostatic release unit (HRU) for the liferaft. Complete with swap strap for lashing and "weak link" attachment eye for the liferaft release line (HR-0100, Article-No. 3263-010).

For "small" liferafts (4 to 12 persons), the HAMMAR H20R water pressure release is alternatively available without MED/SOLAS approval (HR-0200).

Approval period: 2 years from installation in each case (the corresponding marking is made on board during installation).

The hydrostatic release unit releases the rescue equipment when the vessel sinks. A spring-loaded blade automatically cuts the lashing of the liferaft at a water depth of 1.5 - 4 metres so that it can float freely.
