TRANSOCEAN ISO / ISAF Life Rafts are equipped pursuant to ISO 9650-1 and ISAF,
and are thus intended for use even in extreme conditions. In addition to the basic equipment,
it has isolated double floors, accurate activation to -15°C, entry ramp, extensive emergency and
signaling equipment and more.

PLASTIMO has over 40 years experience in making marine-safety products. All life rafts are made in Europe.
The following equipment features are included on all life rafts:
- Double-hull system with a seawater-resistant, highly elastic polyurethane inner hull and an extremely resistant PVC-1100 Decitex outer hull.
- Patented servo mechanism to simply and safely open the gas supply.
- Stable floating position, even in high winds and waves, through exceptionally large, lead-filled ballast bags.
- Packed in a vacuum so that the life raft is better protected.
- 3-year maintenance can be carried out by partners located worldwide.
- With regular maintenance the PLASTIMO rafts can be used for up to 18 years
- Basic emergency gear comes in every life raft.

Universal rack for life raft container

Stable universal holder for liferafts in containers.Adjustable in size and therefore suitable for various container sizes from different manufacturers: the length of the container can vary from 640 to 840 mm. The minimum width is 400 mm.The holder is neatly made of stainless steel tubing (AISI 316) with a diameter of 25 mm.The four robust stainless steel clamps supplied can be used either for deck mounting or for suspending the bracket from the railing.The liferaft container is held in the bracket by a stainless steel strap. The tension lock on the strap can be locked (in port) with a padlock (included).The illustration may differ slightly from the article.

HAMMAR H20R Hydrostatic release unit HRU for liferaft

MED / SOLAS approval (see further down on this page under "Downloads & Information").HAMMAR H20R - Hydrostatic release unit (HRU) for the liferaft. Complete with swap strap for lashing and "weak link" attachment eye for the liferaft release line (HR-0100, Article-No. 3263-010). For "small" liferafts (4 to 12 persons), the HAMMAR H20R water pressure release is alternatively available without MED/SOLAS approval (HR-0200).Approval period: 2 years from installation in each case (the corresponding marking is made on board during installation).The hydrostatic release unit releases the rescue equipment when the vessel sinks. A spring-loaded blade automatically cuts the lashing of the liferaft at a water depth of 1.5 - 4 metres so that it can float freely.
