The GLORIA SO 200E-M aerosol extinguishing system was specially developed for use where there is a risk of fire in a largely enclosed space (e.g. in the engine compartment on board).
The system is installed as a stationary unit and is manually triggered to extinguish class B fires (flammable liquids).
The extinguishing system is easy to install, simple to use and requires little maintenance.
If the smell of burning is detected or a fire is detected visually, the boat's engine and ignition are switched off. Pressing the trigger button activates the extinguishing generator and starts the extinguishing process. The environmentally friendly extinguishing agent aerosol is produced from potassium carbonate.
One cartridge is sufficient for a room volume of up to 1.5 cubic meters. In larger rooms, up to three cartridges (then for a room volume of up to 4.5 cubic meters) can be installed and triggered.
The extinguishing generator (cartridge) must be replaced after five years.
Attention: The connection of the cartridges was changed in 2023. To insert a replacement cartridge into an older system, adapter E02/E03-AK2-11 (article-No. 3407-101) is also required.
