The Ferropilot 220S LED search light is just as suitable for boats and yachts as it is for land vehicles.

The housing (available in black or white) is made of plastic (ASA), which is UV and salt water resistant (IP 56). The LED module is dust and waterproof (IP 68). The LEDs have an aluminium housing as a heat sink. The lens is made of hardened polycarbonate.

The 220S LED search light can be quickly mounted on the base using four screws. The power cable is also fed through the base of the search light.

Safety note: The search light is not suitable for vertical or upside-down mounting. This can have an impact on its function and tightness.

The headlight can be controlled using either the radio remote control or (optionally) the joystick (both control elements are included in the scope of delivery). The radio remote control and joystick can be rotated 360° horizontally (continuously - without stopping!) and swivelled 135° vertically. When the search light is switched off, it automatically returns to its starting position.

The ten high-quality LEDs from Osram provide a light intensity of 460,000 candela (approx. 20 times that of a hand-held distress torch). The range is up to 1,370 metres!

The LED search light can be operated with either 12 or 24 volts. The energy consumption is only 50 watts.

By using the optional flood light adapter (Article-No. 3307-100), the light can be spread more widely if, for example, obstacles need to be recognised at close range in narrow waters. You will find the adapter further down on this page under "Accessories".

The DHR150-series searchlight is a Classic. Introduced in the 60's it has been a popular fixture in the recreational boating ever since. Thanks to the evolvement of LED technology, DHR decided to develop a drop-in PAR46 LED replacement for the 150-series. No special modifications are needed for installation. The existing wiring can be connected to the LED-insert - without the need for extra tooling. Compared to the 100-250 Watt incandescent equivalent, it boosts a luminous intensity of 200.000 Candela (measured) using only 10 W of energy.
