The IC-M25EURO is the thinnest (30.5 mm) and lightest (220 g) of the floating marine handheld radios.
Thanks to the Float'n Flash technology, the IC-M25EURO floats on the surface of the water if it falls overboard or in an emergency at sea, and it also flashes, making it easy to recognize even in the dark. This even works when the radio is switched off.
Features:
- International marine radio channels
- Large LC display, simple operating concept
- Output power 5 W / 1 W / 0.5 W
- USB charging option (Micro-B USB connection)
- 11 hours operating time thanks to 1500 mAh lithium-ion battery
- Optional waterproof speaker microphone HM-213
- Waterproof according to IPX7 (30 minutes at a depth of 1 m)
- Two and three-channel monitoring
Dimensions: W x H x D: 57 x 134 x 30.5 mm, weight: approx. 220 g.
Scope of delivery: IC-M25, USB charger (230 V), belt clip, antenna, wrist strap, instructions.
The ATIS channels for participation in inland radio can be activated on request for an additional charge. Please provide us with your ATIS number if necessary.
If you have an ATIS number for inland radio, you can store it in your handheld radio. In countries such as the Netherlands or Belgium, the handheld radio may also be used without restrictions in inland areas.
In Germany (or France), on the other hand, it is prohibited to use handheld radios in a traffic area other than "radio on board" and this in turn is taboo for small vessels (<20m). This means that recreational boaters are de facto prohibited from using a handheld radio in the German inland area.
Anyone who does so anyway is committing an administrative offense (offence no. 22.240510). This may result in a warning fine (55 euros) or even a higher fine.
Further technical details can be found in the operating instructions as a pdf file under "Downloads".
